CHINA-INTERNAL: SECURITY

 Addressing the top echelons of China's security apparatus in Beijing on May 19, 2015, Chinese President Xi Jinping asked them to keep "firm faith" and "absolute loyalty" to the Party in the face of the tough tasks to safeguard national security and social stability in the fast changing domestic and international environment and where there are huge uncertainty and risks. He told the National security agencies to 'strictly discipline themselves and forge a team, which is "determined, pure, trustworthy, devoted and competent". He also praised their dedication and performance and said the nation would never forget their sacrifices. 


Meng Jianzhu, Politburo member and head of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, pledged that national security agencies will carry out Xi Jinping's instructions and follow the undivided leadership of the CCP Central Committee.
