CHINA-INTERNAL:TIBET

 A 37-year old Tibetan woman and mother of two from Chone County in Kanlho region of Gansu Province, Sangye Tso, has reportedly died after setting herself on fire around 4AM (local time) on May 27, 2015, in front of a building of Chinese Security personnel and armed forces near Tashi Choekhorling monastery in protest against China’s occupation of Tibet and its hard-line policies.


Immediately after her self-immolation protest, Chinese security personnel took away her charred body but later returned the body to the family but deployed a large number of police in and around Tso’s home.
