CHINA-MONGOLIA: MILITARY COOPERATION/'KAHAN QUEST-2015'

 More than 1200 troops are participating in the "Khaan Quest -2015" multinational peacekeeping and military exercises which commenced on June 20, 2015 at the Mongolia Armed Forces Training Center. China has sent 25 PLA troops to participate in this year's exercise, which China's Defense Attache in Mongolia said is the first time that China has sent troops to participate in the “Khaan Queat” military exercises which will last till July 1, 2015. Mongolia's Defense Ministry said the military exercises are to strengthen International peacekeeping cooperation and enhance the ability of peacekeeping tasks. Among the countries participating this year are: China, US, France, India, South Korea, Japan, Canada and 23 other nations.
