An Artillery Regiment of the Tibet Military District (TMD) carried out a live fire tactical exercises on June 29, 2015,  using new types on cannon at a height of about 4800 meters in a cold mountain. Female soldiers participated in the artillery live firing exercises in this region for the first time, with 7 female soldiers participating.
