The Central Discipline Inspection Commission (CDIC) website announced on July 12, 2015, afternoon that 61-year old Xi Xiaoming, Vice President of the Supreme People's Court has been detained on suspicion of serious violation of law and is currently undergoing investigation. According to Wechat, the allegations against Xi Xiaoming, who is very well known for his work in civil and commercial law reform, are linked to a dispute over shareholding in a Shanxi coal company. It said other members of the organisation are also under investigation.
