DebkaFile, an Israeli Military and Intelligence site of doubtful credibility reported last week that China and Iran are close to finalising an almost US$ 1 billion deal for the sale of 24 J-10 (Vigorous Dragon) aircraft to Iran. DebkaFile claimed China intends to sell Iran 150 J-10 aircraft.  The Taiwan-based Want Daily also reported this week that “China will provide the Iranian Air Force with a total number of 24 F-10 Vigorous Dragon jets, the export version of the J-10, to equip its two fighter groups.”
