The Central Military Commission (CMC)'s Discipline Inspection Commission disclosed on August 18, 2015, that former PLA Major General Zhang Wansong is under investigation. Zhang Wansong was formerly Director of the Joint Logistics Department of the PLA Lanzhou Military Area Command (MAC), and was probed on suspicion of serious disciplinary violations. His case has been transferred to the military procuratorates.
