PBSC Member and CDIC Chairman Wang Qishan appeared on the CCTV Evening News on September 5 & 6, 2017. He looked hale and hearty in the September 5th video of his Hunan tour, contradicting rumours that he is dying of late stage liver cancer in a PLA hospital in Beijing. He was accompanied by Zhao Leji, Politburo Member and Head of the CCP CC's Organisation Department. The September 6th CCTV Evening News report on the symposium for the 100th anniversary of the birth of Yao Yilin is particularly interesting. It showed Premier Li Keqiang giving the keynote speech and PBSC Members Liu Yunshan, Wang Qishan, Zhang Gaoli, Zhao Leji and Yang Jing as attendees. Li Zhanshu presided over the meeting. Several family members were in attendance, Yao Mingshan and Yao Qing.
