At a press conference in Shanghai on September 8, 2017, Zhao Xueliang, Director of the Network Security Coordination Bureau of the Central Network Administration and Jiang Xun, Director of the Shanghai Municipal Committee, said the Central Network Security and Information Leading Group had approved that this year's "National Network Security Promotion Week Program" will be held nationwide from September 16 to 24, 2017. It is being jointly organised by the PRC Ministry of Education, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the People's Bank of China, the Press and Publication Bureau of Radio and Television, the National Federation of Trade Unions, the Communist Youth League Central Committee and nine other departments.
