US Administration officials expected to travel with US President Trump during his 12-day Asia tour tat includes 2 days in China, include National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, Senior Policy Adviser Stephen Miller, U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross. Deputy National Security Adviser Dina Powell is also expected to go on the trip, as well as Matt Pottinger, who has been serving as the administration’s top Asia policymaker. Cohn's number 2, Everett Eissenstat, is expected to travel with the President. Ivanka Trump is scheduled to speak at a women’s event in Tokyo on November 3, but she and Jared Kushner are expected to drop out after the Beijing stop, a White House aide said. Talking about persons involved with policy on China, a US Administration official has been quoted as saying “There are 15 people on the front line of the relationship. In the beginning, when we were understaffed, Jared was one of maybe three.”
