CHINA-INDIA: MEETING ON WORKING MECHANISM FOR CONSULTATION AND COORDINATION ON INDIA-CHINA BORDER AF

The 10th round of the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination on India-China Border Affairs was held in Beijing on November 17, 2017. the Indian delegation was led by Pranay Verma, Joint Secretary (EA), MEA, and the Chinese delegation by Xiao Qian, Director General, Department of Asian Affairs, MFA. "The talks were held in a constructive and forward- looking manner". "The two sides also exchanged views on further confidence building measures and strengthening of military-to-military contacts".
