Weiquanwang blogspot reported on May 8, 2018 that more than 200 ex-PLA personnel who had been employed by 4 banks after demobilisation and then ""illegally" laid off without commensurate medical or pensionary benefits, wrote letters on May 8, 2018 to China's newly established Ministry of Veterans Affairs requesting intervention.
