Global Firepower, a website that lists the world's military strength, has ranked China in the third place after the US and Russia. The rankings are finalised on the basis of 7 indices. Among the seven indexes, the U.S. exceeds Russia in five indexes, and Russia surpasses the U.S. in the numbers of tanks and nuclear warheads, while, China takes the leading position in the number of military troops.
