CHINA-RUSSIA: BILATERAL TIES

The Hong Kong-based Ta Kung Pao reported on February 9, 2015, that China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) has been invited to participate in the Victory Day Parade held in Russia's Red Square on May 9 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany. Andrei Denisov, the Russian Ambassador to China, said President Xi Jinping has agreed to take part in the VE Day parade with a PLA delegation consisting of 60 military officers.
