CHINA-INTERNAL: AGRICULTURE

China's first Red Letter Document No:1 of this year issued on February 11, 2015, as per past practice, was on Agriculture. The 32-point document asserted that 'China would not become rich unless farmers became rich' and listed various measures to boost agriculture production. Noting that grain production had increased in 2014 for 11 consecutive years, it promised to 'speed up the construction of new storage facilities to meet the demand in 'The Plan for increasing the National Grain Production Capacity' by 50 billion Kilograms between 2009-2020'.
