CHINA-INTERNAL: TIBET/OLYMPIC GAMES

A global coalition of more than 175 Tibet organisations was to submit a report to Thomas Bach, the President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), on March 19, 2015, calling on the IOC to reject Beijing’s bid to host the Winter Olympics in 2022. IOC members are due to visit Beijing from 24 - 28 March. The only other candidate is Almaty in Kazakhstan.
