CHINA-INTERNAL: NPC GOVERNMENT WORK REPORT
Chinese Premier Li Keqiang's nearly 100-minute speech to the NPC on March 5, very surprisingly omitted any reference to “Made in China 2025,” a government-led industrial program at the center of the contentious U.S.-China trade dispute. The Trump administration has described it as a subsidy-stuffed program to make China a global technology leader at the expense of the U.S.
