The China-owned US-based news outlet Duowei News reported with the caption 'The situation in India and Pakistan is escalating. Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission Xu Qiliang visits Pakistan', a post on the Pakistan Navy official Facebook (August 28). It quoted the Facebook post as saying that Vice Chairman Xu Qiliang of the CCP Central Military Commission led a high-level delegation to visit the Pakistan Naval Headquarters in Islamabad, Pakistan, on August 27 and met with the Pakistan Naval Chief of Staff Zafar Mahmood Abbasi. They discussed issues of common concern.
