Chinese President and CCP CC General Secretary Xi Jinping made a public appearance in Beijing on February 10, and called for “resolutely winning the people’s war, overall battle, and defensive battle for epidemic prevention and control.” He visited a neighborhood, hospital, and disease control and prevention center with Beijing Party Committee Secretary Cai Qi and Mayor Chen Jining. During his visit to the hospital, he conducted a video call with medical workers, Party cadres, and PLA Commanders in Wuhan, during which he stressed that “the whole Party, military, country, and people from all ethnic groups are standing with people of Hubei Province and Wuhan.”
