The Chairperson of the BDC of Nyuma-Changthang reported on April 27 that between 300-500 Chinese military vehicles were in the Tashigong area opposite Demchok. Flying activity by fighter jets during the day was also reported. 

(Comment: Though the information was confirmed, no further details are available. It is also not known whether fighter jet activity was of the Indian Air Force or the People's Liberation Army Air Force. Except in event of border intrusion or confrontation so much Chinese military activity so close to the border is very unusual. )
