CHINA-DISSENT: PROF XU ZHANGRUN PROTESTS DEMOLITION OF BEIJING'S ART DISTRICT

Radio Free Asia reported (June 26) that Xu Zhangrun, a Professor at Tsinghua University who has published articles critical of Xi Jinping and the CCP many times, on June 25, criticized the Beijing authorities for the demolition of the art district, which was actually for the benefit of the land, and even more to crack down on the art world and monopolize ideas. Xu Zhangrun said more bluntly that 'Xi Jinping's regime is already struggling internally and externally and has entered into a dead-end'. It said on the Dragon Boat Festival on June 25, in a lengthy signed article on the Internet Professor Xu Zhangrun of Tsinghua University, criticized the demolition by the Beijing authorities of Beijing's art district. He said after the expulsion of artists from the area two or three years ago, the population has increased to multiple art districts and residential communities.  His article was titled: "Tampering with Sven, Must Drive an Evil Charm."
