The Chinese Embassy in the US on September 4, said on its official Twitter account that China has become the 2nd largest contributor to the UN's regular and peacekeeping budgets, and the largest contributor of peacekeepers among the 5 permanent members of the Security Council, taking part in the handling of almost all major international and regional hotspot issues.
