India’s actions seriously violated the relevant agreements between China and India, pushing up regional tensions and easily causing misunderstandings and misjudgments. They are serious military provocations and are of a very bad nature. We request the Indian side to withdraw personnel who crossed the LAC at once, strictly control frontline troops, seriously investigate and punish the personnel who fired the provocative shot and ensure similar incidents won't take place again. Chinese troops will resolutely perform their duties and missions and resolutely defend national territorial sovereignty".
