CHINA-S&T: CHINESE ACADEMY OF SCIENCES IDENTIFIES FOCUS AREAS AFFECTED BY US SANCTIONS

These new deployments have done several aspects, one is supercomputing, we have developed our own supercomputing system, which has also been applied to weather forecasting, molecular design, drug development, atmospheric forecasting, etc., and can also be used in basic research, cosmology research. Second, many key materials such as high-end bearings still need to be imported, We have turned the U.S. "stranglehold list" into our scientific research task list for layout, such as aviation tires, bearing steel, photolithography machines, as well as some key core technologies, key raw materials, we strive to focus on the most important areas of national attention in the future in the second phase, focusing on the whole institute's strength to do.
