The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Central Committee (CC), State Council and Central Military Commission (CMC) announced (September 24) that commemorative medals will be issued on the 70th anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army's participation in the Korean War (1950-53) against the US and will be awarded to living Volunteer Army veterans who had fought in the war.
