CHINA-S&T: CHINA'S INVESTMENT IN SPACE FOR FIRST TIME SURPASSES THAT OF RUSSIA

China's investment in Space has this year for the first time surpassed that of Russia. A recent tabulation by the US-China Institute shows that while the US invests 58% of the world total or US$ 41 billion in Space exploration, this year China invested US$ 5.8 billion exceeding Russia's US$ 4.2 billion. The rest of the world together accounts for US$ 19.8 billion.
