Xinhua and the People's Daily (March 15) disclosed that the Central Military Commission recently issued the newly revised "Work Regulations of the Chinese Communist Party Army Disciplinary Inspection Committee", which will come into force on April 1, 2021. They said the "Regulations" adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era, thoroughly implement Xi Jinping Thought on Strengthening the Army and stress adherence "to the party's absolute leadership over the military." The "Regulations" consist of 7 chapters and 44 articles and put the party’s political construction in the first place.
