CHINA-CCP: QIU SHI CALLS PARTY HISTORY EDUCATION CAMPAIGN A NEW "POLITICAL MOBILISATION"

Qiu Shi (Seeking Truth) in its 7th issue of 2021 released on March 31, published an article by the CCP CC Organisation Department titled: Do a good job in the study and education of party history for party members and cadres. The article said the centenary of the founding of the party is the right and necessary time as also an opportunity to carry out party history learning and education for the whole party. It said 'General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the Party History Study and Education Mobilization Conference clearly put forward a series of innovative new ideas, new viewpoints and new measures, reflecting the general secretary’s profound theoretical thinking, broad historical vision, and profound feelings of the people'. It described the party history learning and education campaign as "a political mobilization made by a century-old party based on a new starting point".
