CHINA-PLA: 28 PLAAF FIGHTER AIRCRAFT OVERFLEW TAIWAN'S AIR DEFENCE IDENTIFICATION ZONE ON JUNE 15

On June 15, the People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) sent 28 warplanes on sorties into Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ). This was the largest single-day mission since the island began regularly reporting such activity last year. The previous record was 25 planes on April 12.
