CHINA-S&T: CHINA'S 12TH ARCTIC SCIENTIFIC EXPEDITION DEPARTED FROM SHANGHAI ON JULY 12

People's Daily (July 12) disclosed that China’s 12th Arctic Scientific Expedition organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources set sail on July 12, from Shanghai on the "Snow Dragon 2" ship to perform scientific expeditions in the Arctic. This expedition is China's first Arctic scientific expedition organized during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. It is estimated that the total voyage will be about 15,000 nautical miles and will return to Shanghai in late September.
