CHINA-INTERNAL: XINJIANG

 Radio Free Asia (RFA) reported on May 5, 2015, that Chinese authorities have ordered Muslim shopkeepers and restaurant owners in Aktash village in the southern part of the  Xinjiang-Uyghur Autonomous Region to sell alcohol and cigarettes, and promote them in “eye-catching displays.” Establishments that failed to comply were threatened with closure and their owners with prosecution.
