On October 11, 2014, a new comprehensive test ship "Li Siguang" (hull number 894) was commissioned at a naval port in Zhanjiang. A flag presentation ceremony was held to mark the test ship Li Siguang's induction in to the PLA Navy (PLAN). The ship is 129.3 meters long and 17 meters wide and has a full load displacement of 6,080 tonnes.
