CHINA-INDIA: BORDER SITUATION

 Colonel Geng Yangsheng said at the routine weekly briefing of the Chinese Defence Ministry on October 25, 2014 that  reports had appeared in the media about the recent confrontation in the "line of control" of the  Sino-Indian border between the two sides appeared, and also how both sides resolved these confrontations. He said that the Sino-Indian border has not been delineated and sometimes these types of cases occur which is inevitable, but this does not affect the overall situation of Sino-Indian friendship and cooperation. For some of the problems occurring in the border area, both sides have smooth communication channels, to be properly resolved through dialogue and consultation, mechanism of  jointly controlling the situation, to maintain peace and stability in border areas. About the incident that occurred recently, China and India have conducted effective communication. Currently, the situation has been timely and effective control, and it can be said that the border area is peaceful.
