CHINA-INTERNAL: INNER MONGOLIA DISSENT

Hada, a resident of Inner Mongolia and ethnic Mongol, on December 19, 2014, filed a lawsuit against the Chinese authorities for placing him under extrajudicial detention for 4 years after his completion of a 15-year jail term and persecuting his wife Xinna and son Uiles on trumped-up charges. The Southern Mongolian Human Rights Information Center (SMHRIC) issued a release containing a translation of his appeal. In the appeal, Hada stated his intention of filing a suit against the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Public Security Bureau State Security Department and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Political and Legal Affairs Committee. He accused them of falsely accusing and persecuting his wife, Xinna, and not allowing his son to continue the bookshop business. He said the State Security authorities talked to his brother the previous day to pressure him to persuade Hada to give up my beliefs.
