Sucharita Mukherjee is a Research Intern at the Centre for China Analysis and Strategy (CCAS). She holds a Master’s Degree from the Department of Language and Journalism at Sichuan University in Chengdu city, Sichuan province, China. Her Bachelor's degree is in Chinese Language, Literature, and Culture from Cheena Bhawan, Vishva Bharati University, Santiniketan, West Bengal, India.

She was a recipient of the Chinese Government Scholarship from 2017 to 2020. In 2015, she participated in a study tour to Yunnan University, Kunming, China. She was the winner of the 1st Xuan Zang Cup Chinese Language Contest (inter-university level) in 2015. She has qualified for HSK level-6.

Her research interests primarily focus on Chinese Military, Chinese Foreign Policy, and Chinese Influence Operations in South Asia.
